FightBro heavy-duty straight punching bags are designed and made for powerful punches or kicks. Safety is always the number one concern followed by durability. Yet there are a lot more details to be considered for effective training, including hanging, moving, softness, resilience, ease of installation, and of course aesthetical outlook. Because we understand the fighters, the amateur trainees, the coaches and the gym owners, we got all that covered.

Punching Bag Overview

Here's an overwiew of all FightBro punching bags including dummies that can be hung to work as a punching bag.

Leather

One type of leather used for FightBro heavy-duty straight punching bags is called Duron. It is a type of microfiber leather we developed with a leather factory specifically for sufficient strength while maintaining the feeling of genuine leather.

For punching bags, the leather is laminated with canvas for addtional strength while not losing any softness.

Duron has a lot of color options to fit almost any gym design. 

The other type of leather used for FightBro heavy-duty straight punching bags is called BondTex. It is a type of PVC leather we developed with a leather factory specifically for punching bags for excellent printing quality.

BondTex is just as strong as Duron. It does not have the same genuine leather touch as Duron does, yet it can be digital printed for cost effective custom designs.

Stitching

A punching bag is not really a "bag". It must be professionally designed to avoid flaws that may interrupt your gym business or even bring about safety issues. The follwoing photos are just showing some examples to watch out for.

Filling

Punching bag filling can be tricky. After filled the bag can not be too light, too heavy, too hard, too soft.... After many punches, the bag needs to maintain its shape and softness. Although many features are subjective, we as a producers can still control a few quantitative measurements to ensure quality consistancy.

All our filling materials are supplied by selected garment factories nearby so we control what type of material goes into the bag. All filling materials are checked by industrial metal detector machine to ensure safty. We even put camphor balls in each filled bag to keep the fillings fresh and free from insects.

For all bags filled by us, we put a steel ring inside the bag so the bag maintains round shape.

Bag hanging is simple but can an engineering puzzle or even gym owner's nightmare. You want to make sure: 1. bags are hung safely; 2. bags are hung in the right height; 3. bags are hung in a way that causes the mimal wear and tear to the bags.

For safty, you don't want a bag to fall, to damage glasses or partition walls, or even to hurt other people or the trainee himself. Consult us for more information about bag hanging safety.

For hanging height, we prepared a white paper to show you how to identify the hanging extention parts you need for ideal hanging height.

For minimum wear and tear to your bags, we have a free anti-wear hook delivered with each bag. We strongly recommend you to use it as it will extend service time for the bag.

Bag layout is somewhat subjective but it does have to comply to certain rules. Different training methods for different disciplines and different class designs dictate the bag layout. Gyms owners always want to maximize the floor efficiency but it must be superseded by safety, training method, class design and training efficiency.
